Yummy and easy-I like it:)Rachaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08267207987959168538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3739278362553454729.post-35384030712013420052009-11-09T12:04:25.801-08:002009-11-09T12:04:25.801-08:00I'm not sure if you have any Stove Top on hand...I'm not sure if you have any Stove Top on hand, but here's a quick and easy recipe. It calls for chicken, but I don't know why you couldn't use turkey instead. I'll write the recipe as I got it, with some notes in parenthesis.

Chicken and Dressing Casserole

1 large can of chunk chick (I use however much leftover chicken that I have - probably about 2 cups)
1 stick of butter (I use about half and then add water)
1 can cream of chicken soup (I make my own)
1 box of Stove Top cornbread dressing (I use whatever dressing box I happen to have)

In a 2-quart casserole, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Microwave on high for about 5 minutes. Stir again and microwave on high for another 3 minutes.

As you can see, I only follow the spirit of the recipe. However, it's something that my family likes, so I keep some Stove Top (generic or found cheap at Big Lots) for a quick dinner. I think the recipe as written (using canned chicken and all) would be a little salty. But it's sure an easy recipe!Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02883096095980241281noreply@blogger.com
