Monday: Salad with strawberries, avocados, veggies, cheese over red lettuce, baked potatoes Tuesday: Chicken Divan in the crockpot over leftover potatoes Wednesday: Curry in the crockpot Thursday: Beans...and ? Maybe just beans and rice. Friday: Hamburgers and Fries, veggies Saturday: Homemade Pizza Sunday: not sure yet...maybe corn fritters What's on your menu...needing ideas and inspiration!

Liv's 3rd birthday part 2!

Somehow, we missed a bunch of photo ops for this part of Liv's bday! I see no pictures of the cake whatsoever...hoping they are on the other camera! Anyhow, here are some pictures of her opening the goodies from Grandma and Grandpa Gregory plus a few extras mommy and daddy have picked up from friends (dress up clothes).

Also, by popular demand (hi Auntie!) Olivia had a chocolate bean cake for birthday part one, and a chocolate zucchini cake for bday part 2 with frozen banana icecream! And I am a terrible, uncreative mom and didn't end up frosting either of them. They don't have store bought here and I didn't think ahead to buy stuff to make it homemade. The 10 minute car trips to pick up stuff to make frosting just don't happen here (no car of course:). But she LOVED the candles, being sung to, and blowing them out. She was GIDDY:) Very cute.

Happy 3rdBirthday Liv, part 1

Happy third birthday Liv!  This was birthday part one, with Grandpa and Grandma Crosby!  She was SO excited about the candles...I seriously think that was the best part for her!  We love our little blue eyed, fair-skinned, wavy haired, extremely opinionated and smart little girl!

Menu Plan

M:  Moroccan Lentil Chickpea Soup (this was delicious and inexpensive!) and whole grain bread
T:  Crockpot Beef Stroganoff over noodles or potatoes (mine over zucchini)
W:  Beans, chips, and toppings
Thursday:  Potatoes with beans, broccoli, etc.
Friday:  Hamburgers and Fries, veggies

That's all i have so far! 

Breakfasts will be baked oatmeal, sourdough pancakes, smoothies, eggs.

Marianna wanted me to take a picture of her colored pencil design.  The way cooler one was before that...she wrote "HAT" with my help on how to spell it out of colored pencils.  Smart girl.

The new blogger set up has me thrown for a loop, hence my lack of coherent or many posts at all. But! I can still get pictures up:) Its been a busy whirlwind here lately...with grandma and grandpa Crosby we have 7 people in less than 700 square feet! Its been super fun to have company though, can't complain at all. Very glad we get to keep them for almost 2 weeks! Here are some pics from the past week or two, to try and catch up!

Happy Birthday Louis!

Our handsome little boy turned one today! He has been a sweet blessing to us...he is always ready with a smile. Louis is very "busy" like our other two and adventurous. Just today he figured out how to climb up one of sister's toy chairs and climb onto the third rung of our deck. Yikes! I think we'll always be on our toes with this boy. He is still quite a mama's boy, but I have a feeling that my days of having a "baby" are numbered. We love you little man!
