Menu Plan

We had shish-kebabs yesterday...so YUM! Chicken, zucchini, onion, pineapple, green peppers and mushrooms. Bonus: Daniel and I found out that we had both requested shish-kebabs as birthday dinners growing up. We were meant to be together:)

Breakfasts: cold cereal, oatmeal, toast, eggs, fruit (egg sandwich for me...whole wheat slice of bread with two "fried" eggs or scrambled eggs with veggies and a little meat. Plus, no more cold cereal for me for awhile since the little man has been having trouble digesting MY milk when I drink cow's milk. :(

Lunch/snacks: leftovers, hot dogs, pasta, soup, salad (for me), green smoothies (I have a green smoothie pretty much every morning at around 9:30 these days... the girls have some too usually! Usually its frozen bananas, spinach, and one other fruit (berries or pineapple are a fav) plus enough water to make it blend into a smoothie consistency. Filling, a great way to sneak in more veggies and 0 points +!

Dinners:

Monday: At our friends' house for dinner

Tuesday: Macaroni and Cheese, hot dogs, fresh peas from the garden (we're doubling this to make some for a family that just lost their dad/husband who was a firefighter)

Wednesday: Taco Soup

Thursday: Meatloaf and Mashed potatoes, salad from garden

Friday: Burgers on the grill, veggie sticks, chips

Saturday: Game night? Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, peas

Sunday: Clean out the fridge or out to eat
