Hair Everywhere

So I took the plunge and finally cut Daniel's hair myself. I got a lesson from a lovely friend from church who also happens to be an awesome hairdresser (and she gave us some of her cool haircutting tools!) a couple months ago. I didn't take picturs of me actually cutting the hair, because I am not smart like that.

What you can't see in these pictures are the hair clippings all over Baby M's face. She was watching us in the pack n' play for awhile, but started to get cranky so Daniel held her near the end. She started picking clippings off Daniel's shirt and eating them. Protein much? Out of all the things she eats off the floor in a day I guess its not a bad option after all;)

I learned how to cut my husbands hair too, which seems to save quite a bit of money as often as he needs it cut! Congratulations!

I also found this to be a frugal tip for our family. It took a couple months (maybe even 2 years) but his hair actually looks good when I cut it now. It saves us lots because he needs it cut every couple weeks and he needs his beard trimmed too.

Thanks for sharing!

I cut all of my families hair (4 boys and 1 husband). In fact I did it yesterday. It saves me about $40! That is too funny about her eating the hair! Gross...but funny!

I cut my husband's hair too. When I first started several years ago it didn't look so good, but once I got the hang of it he started looking more professional, lol. How great that you got some tips from a professional!

You would have to be SUPER talented to take pictures of yourself, cutting, lol!

And why is it that babies can't seem to stay out of clippings!? :)

Good for you! I've been cutting all of our kids' hair as well as my own for years. It's scary at first, but you get better at it with time. I found your blog at Money Saving Mom, by the way;-)
