Hiking Mt. Ellinor

Its official, we are in the market for a new camera. As you can see below, we didn't get much in the way of usable pictures from our hike today to Mt. Ellinor. It was strenuous. We hiked Mt. Pilchuck last week and I thought that was tough. Now I know better:) We hiked the same elevation gain in half the distance! It felt like climbing thousands of stairs, all in a row. We saw three shaggy white mountain goats at the top. One was the size of a small horse! We also saw these little chipmunk like creatures which came right up to us. M was thrilled to see them and kept waving to the one that tried to steal our picnic lunch. Too cute.

Here is one of the pics that survived. This is how we get our girlie ready for the hike and let her get her wiggles out...we put her in the trunk! It looks a little strange, but it works.

Any ideas for where to get great deals on new cameras? We just need a no frills digital camera that is fairly straightforward and good quality.
