When pregnant, call in the maid(s)

I am 36 weeks pregnant today! Yep, I've officially hit the ready-to-be-done stage. Can't sleep well, can't move well and am starting to get that ever so pretty pregnancy edema in my hands and feet. But luckily its mild and my BP is still officially in normal/high limits.

So what works for me when 36 weeks pregnant? To call in the maid(s) of course. Somebody has got to do the dishes, sweeping and laundry, right? Here are my trusty maid(s) hard at work while I sip iced tea and put my feet up.

And here's what we do after all that hard work....

Take a nap:)

A REAL tip from me is to involve your little ones in your chores. It may be messy and time consuming at times but it 1) keeps them out of bigger trouble 2) keeps them from whining to do something else and 3) eventually teaches them how to really do the chore! Works for me:)

So cute! My girls are now 12 and 8 and while it many times seemed so much more work for them to 'help' me, they are really awsome helpers now! My 12-year-old has her first volunteer job a week from Saturday. She is so excited, and I am so thankful for her helpful spirit. I hope these next few weeks go smoothly and quickly.
