Cute Kitchen Helper

Just some quick family news for those interested! Most important first: girlie news! She has sprouted 2 new teeth, so she will have 4 total on the bottom. That may have been the reason she didn't sleep through the night for several months!?!? She is cruising holding on to people/furniture with ease and stands by herself for a few seconds (on accident I think!). She is still very much a people person...her favorite day of the week is Sunday because she loves church nursery! She cruises up the stairs with ease and is starting to go back down with help. She loves the toilet (yay;() and bathtime. Finger foods are her friend...she is feeding herself all sorts of things, but her favorite is whole wheat bread (just like her daddy!)

As a family, we are still moving toward the mission field, God willing. We will be attending the Wycliffe/JAARS technical evaluation Oct. 11th-18th in North Carolina! We are excited to find out if this is what God has for us. Many times this summer we have felt sadness over the loss of the Papua New Guinea trip (which we would have been on right now) but know that God has good plans for us (Jer 29:11; Romans 8:28).

What a beautiful little girl you have! Am I correct in assuming that she has a strawberry hemangioma on her forehead? Our 3 year old has 2...one on the top of her head and one on her chest. We have taught her it was God's gift to her. She calls it "my strawberry from God."

I pray that your mission work comes to fruition.

Hi Kate! Thanks, we think she's pretty cute too;) And you are right, that is a hemangioma on her forehead. Our dr. said it should almost disappear by the time she was school age--is that your understanding?

I do love to see how your little sweetheart grows as I think she is just a bit older than my daughter who is just 9 months with only 2 teeth, crawling and acting as if she is ready to walk! I love the preview of the next step!
